Colour Balance and Colour Correction in Adobe Photoshop CC
One of the big challenges in photography is to get the colours in our digital file to match
the colours that we see when we take a photograph. This is a complex topic to understand
and implement, but this course will attempt to simplify things for you.
Our eyes are adept at neutralising the colour temperature but getting the colour right want
on the computer is not as easy.
This course will help you use Adobe CC to master colour balance and colour manipulation
for creative effects.
Topics will include:
• What is colour temperature
• Effects of different light sources (daylight, flash, tungsten, Fluorescent and mixed
lighting)
• Colour balance settings in camera
• Setting up a colour managemed workflow
• What are colour spaces?
• Using and setting colour profiles
• Neutralising colour casts in Photoshop CC and Adobe Camera Raw (ACR)
• Using colour correction for creative effects
