Venue: Lillydale is set at the foot of Mount Barney, south-east Queensland's highest peak.
Time: Meet 9am
Animal feeding with Farmer Doug; welcome by Pam and Doug
Hardgrave over morning tea; talk on koala sanctuary and history of Lillydale; photo time; lunch; choice of either half hour horseriding or abseiling and the opportunity for more great photographs; afternoon tea;finish at 4.00pm. Additional option available: Lillydale is a 41/2 star farm stay and has a some luxury rooms available for those wishing to stay a night or two either side.

Tasting of regional wines and cheese will be served on the homestead lawns at 5.00pm for those that wish to stay overnight at no extra cost to room, for all others $10 per person.

l Sights Unseen: Michael Riley - One of Australia’s most important Indigenous visual artists. In his short lifetime, artist Michael Riley left a strong and enduring impression. Riley challenged Australia’s perception of Indigenous culture, giving a voice to the disenfranchised communities of rural and remote eastern Australia and, in doing so, established himself at the forefront of international contemporary art.

aThis Loggerhead turtle hatchling, on the start of aits epic journey from below the sand of Mon Repos abeach is a classic example. While the image taken afrom above could also look great from this angle athe feeling of the hatchling coming straight atowards you, creates the sense of here and now.
Photo Trivia: Did you know?
The oldest surviving photographic negative on paper was taken by William Henry Fox Talbot in Britain, during the late summer of 1835. This rare item is now in the photographic collection of the Science Museum at the National Museum of Photography, Film and Television at Bradford.

Talbot was also a recognised philosopher, classicist, Egyptologist, mathematician, philologist, transcriber and translator of Syrian and Chaldean cuneiform texts, physicist, however it is the work he did in photography between 1834 and 1850 that established in principle and practise the foundation of modern photography; the basis of the process that is used today.
