Capturing the Action Online

27th Aug 2014 6:30 pm at Online

freezing the action We cover freezing and panning – what is best and when to use.

As a stills photographer, you don’t have the luxury of instant replay!

You do, however have the power to capture the incredible skills and prowess of an athlete, vehicle or animal in motion; the emotion and passion of those taking part, on and off the ‘field’; and the capability to tell a story through your imagery.

As with all photography, taking great action photographs is not all about having the latest and best equipment. Rather it’s about seeing, lighting, composition, choosing content and the right shutter speed.
