4 photography tips to capture the colours of autumn

1. Use colour

Colours that either contrast or compliment always other work well together

Always place strong colours in the foreground

2. Use Red

Red is stronger colour than green or yellow

The image above is not as dynamic as it could be. While the
image below is more dramatic as the red is now in the foreground

3. Keep it simple

4. Look for patterns, line, form and balance

My rule of thumb:

I generally find underexposing  autumn images brings out the vibrancy and gives the colours the saturation levels more actually as seen by our human eye. I also use a polariser filter on all my images.
