A passionate landscape and nature photographer Garry prefers the low light situations for much of his work.

Sheryn Ellis

“I am a wife, a daughter, a granddaughter, a sister, an aunty, a best friend, a shoulder to cry on and most importantly a mum to three energetic, amazing children.
My family is my whole world, my drive and the reason that I strive to be all that I can be and capture the true meaning of family – the most important factor in my life.” Sheryn Ellis 2010

I was fortunate to grow up in Dunoon, a small village, surrounded by rolling green hills and National Parks. ¨I spent my teenage years horse riding through the Whian Whian State Forest in NSW and swimming in the most beautiful creeks and water systems I've ever seen.

There are many people who influence our lives. Let’s all take a moment to remember them.
Sheryn draws her inspiration from one of the Masters of Photography, Ansel Adams. His words echo in her mind as she observes people interacting together and a story unfolds…

My favourite quote: A true photograph need not be explained, nor can it be contained in words
.

Anita Bromley

Anita Bromley

Having an interest in photography at a young age saw Anita borrowing her father’s SLR to snap away on B&W film only to have to wait over a week and hand out a substantial amount of money just to see if the images turned out. It’s no surprise once the digital revolution began and DSLR’s became affordable she picked up the camera again. Loving the freedom to play with the camera with immediate results she is continually striving for that ‘perfect’ shot.

Attending her first Photography Workshop with Bluedog as a student back in 2008 changed the way Anita viewed her own photography and with the workshops continually motivating her she quickly became a self confessed ‘Bluedog Workshop addict”! In late 2009 Anita was invited to join the Bluedog team as a Tutor and hasn’t looked back. “I love seeing those light bulb moments when what we are teaching ‘clicks’. It’s extremely rewarding."

Anita believes all photos should convey an emotion to others even if they are not related to the subject in the photo. Her main passion is low light/night photography, however she is happy simply to have the camera in her hands and the opportunity to click away.

Cathy Finch

Cathy Finch

Cathy works as a freelance photographer and travel journalist, submitting regularly to many leading newspaper, magazine and guide book titles.  Having previously worked as a newspaper photographer shooting news, sport, entertainment and features, it could be said that Cathy thrives on documentary photography and deadlines.  But she is at her happiest however, in the midst of travel and adventure - climbing mountains, jumping off them, rafting rapids, surfing jungles and off-road four-wheel-driving through choking bulldust and giant sand drifts, with a camera roped firmly to her body.

Cathy’s images are represented by the world’s leading travel image gallery, Lonely Planet Images, and she currently continues to shoot news jobs for the Courier Mail in the Toowoomba and Darling Downs region.  Cathy was the 2009 ASTW Excellence in Journalism Award Winner for “Best Image Taken in Australia".
