About the Bulloo: The Bulloo Shire covers a massive 74,000 km2. Orange sand dunes, purple flickering gibbers, astounding river systems, unique National Parks - it is all found here in the third largest Shire in Queensland, Australia. The first documented European explorers to the area were Burke and Wills. Pastoral leases were quickly taken up and since then industry has grown and diversified.
